Expoganados de Colombia is a company from Santander responsible for marketing and exporting livestock and animal protein. With 20 years of experience, it leads the livestock sector in Colombia.

Live cattle are exported between 12 and 36 months of age of breeds such as brahmin, zebu, and their crosses raised in natural pastures.
In the process of livestock exporting, specialized ships are used for animal transportation (maritime), thus complying with all international animal welfare regulations and standards for this type of cargo. The main export destinations are Middle Eastern countries.

Our Background
Expoganados de Colombia is a company with a family tradition and more than 40 years of experience in the livestock sector. Founded by Roberto Dulcey Cristancho, a renowned Santander cattle rancher who managed over time to consolidate an excellent working team, to expand its livestock breeding, raising, and marketing practices in different departments of the country, being present to date in 6 departments. Likewise, Expoganados de Colombia has been able to conquer important international markets with the opening of protocols for the export of cattle. This fact has brought with it important growth and recognition for the sector, valuing the local work that small, medium, and large national cattle breeders have been doing for years.
Over the course of time
In 1990, the Company's efforts were focused on growing and strengthening its name at an international level, opening the way in Venezuela with the export of live cattle, thus supplying the needs of the foreign market, and generating great growth for the company. The same year, Expoganados de Colombia purchased its first properties for cattle production and exploitation.
In 2009, the Colombian cattle industry suffered a strong crisis due to a 22% drop in prices, bringing with it millions of dollars in losses, which is why many farmers and businessmen in the sector gave up cattle raising; however, Expoganados de Colombia continued working for the sector and, since it had no market options with Venezuela, it dedicated itself to maintaining national markets and seeking new international options, to survive the situation the cattle industry was going through in the country.
In the search for new business alternatives, it managed to open markets with Lebanon and Jordan to trade cattle, achieving the first export in 2011 to Lebanon with 6066 animals, guaranteeing excellent prices to producers and importers, consolidating Expoganados as a leading company in the sector according to figures from Fedegan, ICA, and DIAN.
Due to the export boom, the company was able to acquire more land, thus improving cattle genetics and increasing its herd. Today, Expoganados de Colombia has an excellent track record, recognition, support, quality products, and highly qualified services, managing to maintain and expand its market increasing the profitability of the livestock sector in Colombia.
